Dyno Day Invite - March 22, 2008 - University Place, Washington

My 2003 Accent GT:

SRI, Evofusion header, custom exhaust, JRM's phenolic spacer, TB coolant bypass mod, Redline MT-90, Royal Purple 10w30


The blue lines are my previous runs in October. HP held the same but torque dropped 8 lb/ft. It was a low day though so I think in reality I'm making considerably more power than before.


My wife's 2005 Tiburon SE V6:

Fujita CAI, Royal Purple 10w30


They didn't have a copy of the previous run in their system for the Tib but the previous numbers were 161hp 169lb/ft. This run dropped 13hp despite adding the Fujita CAI. I don't think power output has gone down, I think it was mostly the day we ran.

Yea ... I went and looked at all the runs ... we all were down 5% - 10%. Talked to Doug about this ... weather, they were even talking about it before we began so it was no surprise for them.

As soon as my turbo is in and tuned I was going to do another dyno day, towards the end of summer ... late August maybe, get some more Honda and DSM rides to show ...
