Default ABQ BBQ - End of Summer Meet/Bash EVERYONE WELCOME!

Okay, as talked about in the thread below...

http://www.hyundaiperformance.com/fo...ic.php?t=53708

I have been wanting to have a big End of Summer bash here in Albuquerque NM. Figure we'll get everyone we can out here, have a big BBQ, enjoy the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta (Biggest in the world, and one of the neatest things you'll ever see), take a trip up to the Sandia Crest that overlooks ABQ, do some group photos and such, and maybe go to the Sandia Casino or down to cruise around Old Town and have a nice dinner. There are lots of things to do here, but we need to get some of this figured out now, so I can help get rooms booked.

1. BBQ =

2. ABQ Int. Balloon Fiesta = http://www.aibf.org/

3. Sandia Crest = 10,678 Feet. Home of the longest Tramway in the world.

The trip up and down includes a drive down that road shown. Heh.

4. Sandia Casino = http://www.sandiacasino.com/

5. Old Town = http://www.oldtownalbuquerque.com/

Looking at the date for this fest being the 2nd Weekend of October. It's the end of the festival and everything should be great. It might be a bit chilly at night, so bring some warm clothes. Anyone that wants to make it a 3 or 4 day, feel free. I'll have the weekend off so I'm good there.

SO, who, when and where ya stayin?

Redz, I sooo want to be there! The only problem is I'll be working and since it's balloon fest I'll be working OT. I don't know my schedule yet, but I'll hang out during my off time. Is this thing a fri/sat/sun?

Doode, Rob, I really hope you can make it out. It'll rule. If it's just you, no worries, I got 2 couches and some inflatable air cushions. :

Otherwise, there are TONS of hotels here. They will be a bit more expensive for that weekend obviously.

Check online at any of the Hotel sites, zip code for ME is 87109 and 87110.

I deleted all of Spikes personal flames and the replies afterwards, so if someone has a problem with that feel free to e-mail me.

This topic will stay that way on topic. If you have personal beef then keep it in e-mails.
