My buddy was going to buy one of those, but the saw is basically rendered useless after that happens. It's a few hundred bucks to fix the saw after that happens.

Actually I work with these EXACT saws and it only cost 150 dollars every time they go off and can be back working in 20min the bad thing they go off on wet wood more then they save fingers. ALSO the trigger can be turned off with a key so you can cut hot dogs or when you know that your going to be cutting wet wood.
