Cant see the video cause i dont have flash.. but did you lower your car? I had mine on some coilovers and i blew my stock struts in less than a day. I switched to KYB GR-2's and they have lasted over a year with a 2 1/2 drop. I just switched to B&G Race Lowering Springs and the KYB's are still good, not great, but still alive.

Gas shocks are harder to blow out than oil shocks/struts.

Ha ha, thats what mine looked like after I installed my gr-2's. Did you install them yourself? Wilbur, your struts are still good after a 2 1/2 inch drop? I am pretty sure my rear struts blew only a few days after installing my 2 inch b+g drop springs.

what a coincidence...

i'm installing a new pair of GR-2's on my accents front end tommorow.

my front end is at soft as a buick and that's making my fornt spoiler lip scratch all the time.

i'm anxious to have a stiff suspension again for fun handling.

Well no, my car wasn't lowered. These were the stock struts all original that came with the car.
2001 accent.
I suppose the ride was rough prior. But what it comes down to is that It's not as bad as it would have been without a rear swaybar.
Because I didn't own the car originally I wasn't aware of what it felt like prior and had less of an idea how much it had deteriorated over time.
The front ones were completely blown as well.
But it's all finished as of yesterday.

And yes - did them myself.
