Good times. +1 for preferring the GTO/Monaro over the EVO as a DD because of the sheer fun factor.

see that's the thing when they compare cars like that.

you can't put a straight line machine against a rally car like that and expect to say which is indefinitely the better car.

but GMs are mush anyways so....

That is incorrect.

There are a lot of similarities between the GTO and my Firebird, only the Firebird is significantly lighter and my engine is designed to make more horsepower but less torque than the GTO. I assure you there is nothing mushy about my Firebird. The Firebird out-handles a GTO, but not an EVO. I am not claiming that because that would be a lie.
