i could go race my wife's ford escort at night against a bicycle with a headlight on it, call it a hyabusa and say that i won. Bottom line, can't tell what the tib is racing. We know the car is fast, but who knows if it is racing against a slow-ass Ninja or a Hyabusa?

hmmm either not a hayabusa or the guy can't ride one since a stock hayabusa can be in the high 9s - low 10s

Man you guys are a bunch of haters.

I posted the video to support the Hyundai community.

Here in El Paso we are at 5400 ft with an average air density between 6200 and 7200 ft. Stock Hayabusa's on street tires run High 10's. This track is not prepped so the Hayabusa has to leave easy.

There is also a video of the car running a 03 Terminator and when the Tiburon hits second it pulls away from the Cobra by about 15 cars.

Well anyway, the origianl video on the net shows the Tiburon running 10:92. Here in El Paso it ran consistant 10:85's. The Hayabusa was at a disadvantage having to ride the clutch off the line.

On another note, I was at a Corvette Cruise today. Earlier this year at one of our local shootout's I smoked a Z06 with my Stang. Video available if you want to see it.

The Corvette club guys get a little uptight when you start talking about anything being faster than their cars. After I beat the Z06 I sent the video to all their club members, they loved it.

Anyway, I walked up to the club president today and told him I just bought a Tiburon that could smoke his Z06. His reply, there is no way that any Tiburon could beat his Vette. I put out my hand and told him I would match race him for my Mustang Title and the Tiburon Title against his Vette. He looked at me funny and then said "Okay, what's the deal with this car". A friend of mine who also drag races stepped in and told him the truth about the Tiburon. Damn, almost became a Vette owner.

Thank you, hopefully in the coming months I can do some positive things with the car to promote the Hyundai Tiburon.

Not with fat albert on the back. If the jockey is heavy the horse will not run as fast.

The tib won fair and square. Who knows maybe the twin engine tibby was hopped up some more.
AWD vs OWD

We can go through 1000 different senerios but what happend is what happend. F*** the if's.

On friday I lost to a tuned turbo diesel truck at a light race. If I wouldn't have bogged the car on the launch and wouldn't have totaly missed 2nd gear I would have toasted him. Fact is I still lost.
