that's very neat. although it would be ugly, i never understood why more cars don't have mini-van style sliding doors, which would making getting out of your car in a tight parking situation. this is a pretty cool change to the standard door.

WTF!! LOL!! thats pretty ok! I dont really like it...I wouldnt want it on my car but I can just imagine if some one was watching that video or the actuall vehicle while stoned outta there minds!! LOL!! They wouldnt know what was going on!! LOL!!

i wonder how safe that really is, and i don't just mean in an accident. what about a panic situation, or if you're trapped, or drowning in a lake, or if the power in the car goes out and you get trapped. what if it cuts your head off. sign me up!!!

I love the concept of this, especially if they are actually serious about how the door integrates with the frame. Yes, I wouldn't want it in a sporting car but I've done some research into door use as part of the Wheels YDOTY comp from last year; this is definitely relevant especially for tight conditions, ie. old European towns.

Its an upmarket thing IMHO; it looks too expensive to implement at the moment but its merits are definitely there where practicality is concerned.
