In challenging weather conditions, the Eurowinter HS439 presents improved winter driving predictability and traction consistency. A new silica compound ensures tread flexibility, maximizing tread life, and multi-angled sipes allow for better control in ice and snow. Benefits:
*New Silica compound offers superior tread life and performance across multiple temperature ranges

Thank you for the post thegrim. We appreciate your continued support and would be happy to help you with your tire needs.

The HS-493 is very well priced when compared to most other tire models in it's class. As always, we do guarantee the lowest delivered price on all the products we sell. If a competitor has a cheaper delivered price, we'll beat it. That said, here's the link with our current cost on the stock size.

As you may know, shipping and sales tax is free for NY residents so $404.00 is the delivered price for 4 new HS-439's.

We currently do not offer Military discounts or forum member discounts. Unlike some of our competitors, we do not inflate our prices just to offer a discount to a select group. Instead, we guarantee the lowest delivered price on all the products we sell for everyone. Like mentioned above, if a competior has a cheaper delivered price, we'll beat it

I have a question, what winter tires give you the best traction? I can run studs here also. I am familiar with how much better the wet and dry handling is with a good studless but for maximum getting around capability what would you suggest?

It all depends on your driving conditions. Are the roads maintained regularly? Are you driving on more ice than snow?

I'm most concerned with rough packed snow and ice. When winter storms hit here they don't plow the roads very well. Last winter we had 2 weeks of driving on foot thick packed snow and ice with giant holes in it.
