Help to install Zerostart Coolant Heater

Hi all,

I just bought two Zerostart Series 8000 Coolant Heaters from Canadian Tire. One is for my 2007 Hyundai Sonata GLS and the other for my wifes 2000 Honda Accord SE. Has anyone here installed one before and have some tips on how to do it? I am trying it on my Sonata first. But not sure as what hose is what on the radiator, for example which hoses goes to the Zerostart unit.

Please help, pics and/or diagrams , even a video would be helpful.

Here is a picture of the units I bought.

Why would you not just buy the specific block heater for the car? They can be found on Ebay or Amazon for pretty cheap. Would seem like a better route to take IMO instead of installing a "universal" part.

I have ZERO experience with the units you posted, sorry.

Former Hyundai owner, still here to help.

I thought about the Hyundai block heaters, but I don't really know much about them and what they do. I bought these universal coolant heater units because I was told they are easy to install and I liked that they warm and circulate the coolant, thus warming more of the engine than just the oil pan, and because of that you get instant heat when you start the car.
