Re: Nitrous Bottle Location.

Mount in the far rear of the vehicle, longitudinal with the vehicle. Point the shut off valve to the front of the vehicle.

Re: Nitrous Bottle Location.

Mount it running parallel to the car in the rear at a slight incline. (front higher than the back) You want the nitrous to "slosh" toward the nitrous intake "straw" in the tank.

I don't know if I'd want that valve pointed at the back of my head. If you get in a wreck and that valve comes off withh 1100psi behind it, it's gonna look like someone shot you in the back of the head with a 10 gauge slug. It might be nice to be able to open the bottle from inside the vehicle, but I'd rather point it at the back of the car and get a remote opener.

Re: Nitrous Bottle Location.

this is how its done my friends...

<img src="http://www.pcrepairworld.com/nitrousworld/bottle1.jpg" border=0>

<img src="http://www.pcrepairworld.com/nitrousworld/bottle2.jpg" border=0>

<img src="http://www.pcrepairworld.com/nitrousworld/bottlefromcabin1.jpg" border=0>

i open the back drivers side door, flip down the back seat, and open the bottle, i leave it open so i can read the guage (bottle pressure).

ENJOY !!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Nitrous Bottle Location.

the safety valve will blow if the bottle is shocked by an impact ...

the actual bottle valve will not come out unless its unscrewed, or if the bottle rips in half !! in which case i would be dead anyway.

Re: Nitrous Bottle Location.

I'm talking about if the car's bodywork intrudes into the trunk and physcally breaks off the valve. I used to be an EMT, I've seen an oxygen tank get dropped on its head and the valve break off. The same can happen to a nitrous bottle.
