Camshaft swap

Hi! I need help. I was advised that I can replace the camshaft on my 2004 tuscani Beta II G4GC 2.0 with the camshaft of a 1995 Elantra 1.6 engine. Is this true? Thanks!

It is kind of true. I'm not sure about 1.6 l nor am I sure about going quite that far back . But I doing all that and 97 98 99 1.8 l camshafts are little bit bigger and or better than what's in the beta 2.0 engines .
If you do some more research and searching you'll find online the exact lifts and durations and know what the difference is
