Take it to a track. There is no way, unless you live below sealevel and its 40 degrees out but the track is covered with VHT and is somehow at a nice warm 90 degrees your stock 1.5 will pull a low 17. The went side by side with a 1.5 in a 1.6 and he had a CAI and exhaust. His time you ask? 17.8 in Houston, so 15ish feet about sea level. That was also a lighter than your LC, X3. The best I have seen out of one of those 1.5s with light mods was 17.5.

here is my last: My 1.5 can turn a 16sec 1/4 thread.

http://www.hyundaiperformance.com/forums/topic.php?t=36568&p=1

here is a time slip from a 1.6 accent (not mine I was running a freinds) vs. a 1.5 accent (both had rims/intake/exhaust)

blah got a lil jumpy with me racing another accent and went off the light a little to fast :ermm: That is one of my only two redlights. The other is a -.001. That one really sucked. I did that then got my arse waxed by some uberWRX. That wasn't a good race at all..... Anyway, back to the subject.
