Why do they suck so much?

I always thought that most of your braking is done with the fronts (unless your an idiot and braking hard all the time). It’s my dads’ car and he’s a pretty slow driver.

So is just the way they’re designed? Or is their something wrong with the portioning valve (Or whatever distributes the brake fluid to the callipers).

I forgot to metion that he has less then 60,000 KM and he's gone through 2 sets of rear pads already.

They do wear much faster than the fronts for some reason. A lot of members on Elantraclub are noticing this.

I do notice the rear brake pad material is not the same as the front; the fronts are ceramic while the rears are a semi-metalic.
