I just got a '06 Sonata LX recently and I've had the Escort Passport 8500. I was wondering if any of you have radars and if you hard wired it, and if so, how? I tried opening up the map light compartment, but I don't want to splice anything just yet.

I just purchased a 06 sonata and if you have the moon roof you can pull down the map light housing, and hook the pos. on the red wire and the ground on the black wire that goes to the moon roof. It also turns it off when you turn off the ignition.
