1/2 Sized X3 Radiator?

I'm thinking about redoing my turbo manifold, and I would like to get a little more room. Has anyone setup a half sized radiator in their X3? Either a hyundai one or one from another car?

Civic rads are real small and cool weel an the usual choice of people wanting to do big turbos.
anyone know a good model civic to pull from? years, trim levels, etc?
I installed a 92 civic Fluidyne radiator. About $250 and it makes alot of room.
I believe some of the LC radiators are really small as well.
Looking at pictures on eBay, seems like the lower hose on the civic units is on the passenger side of the rad. Anyone know of a make/model with one on the drivers?

Yeah they are. The 1.5L SOHC's radiator is half the size of the 1.6L DOHC's radiator.
This sound s good I need some xtra room too, I'll look around a local JY here and if you find something first let us know.
Ummm.. i know for sure that the 1.5 rad (busy_squirells car) is half the size of the 1.6 (187sks's car). Saw them both. Seems that a non-a/c one gets a wimpy rad. Dont know about cooling, but dam.. that gets ALOT of room down there, plus its factory too. :D Start calling junkyards.

I just said that like 3 posts up...oh well...lol.
or you could use two thermo fans on the front pulling air in.thats helps with creating room.

There is an intercooler and oil cooler on the front - combine that with the front bumper, and you now have no room for a fan large enough to make a difference.
