I was thinking about how the 1.8L cams fit the 2.0L beta, but what about the accents? Would the cams from the 1.5L DOHC fit the new 1.6L DOHC in the new accent??

They would fit fine. You'd have to check Webtech to see if there's any performance gains to be made though. I'll check it out tomorrow at work.

1.6L Cam Lift:
Intake: 43.4484
Exhaust: 43.8439

1.5L Cam Lift:
Intake: 43.2484
Exhaust: 43.8439

I'd keep the 1.6 cam if I were you.
