Does anyone know of a turbo manifold available for the 1.5 SOHC commonly found on the 95 accent. I don't believe the Scoupe turbo manifold fits. Any good turbo kits available for this particular engine???

The S-Coupe manifold will fit.

Other than that, you can check with Chip Torque in Oz Land.

i do agree with rob because 1991-92 scoupes had the same motor as the excel with a few tweaks, the 1993-95 scoupe non-turbo and turbo is the alpha motor found in the accent. i can see you that it might not fit because the intake manifold is different but it lines up because you can get different pipes made for the intake, intercooler and they still ran the distributor in those motors while accent relies on coil packs. when you do it make sure you use more fuel(injectors, FPR, fuel pump) because the turbo motor used 7.5 compression pistons while the non turbo motor is 10.2 compression. i hope this helps you out. keep onntuning

if you're near toronto, you might want to call JRP (johnston research and performance) in mississauga 905-564-8805 about the scoupe turbo installation in an accent. i spoke to someone at their booth at the skydome importfest in late september, who seemed familiar with the installation.

I am very familiar with JRP, I stay away from JRP. I was down there from Ottawa to see stuff about a bodykit for the Accent and Steve kept me waiting for an hour and a half so he could serve one of his "friends/customer" That rubbed me the wrong way.

Anyway, I will probably just order the Chip Torque turbo kit. My only prob is that the turbo is preety small.

AS for enough fuel. Shouldn't be a problem. I will be running a TEC II as of this spring. Have the unit, just need the sensors and the trigger wheel.

I may be kind of late on this but it would be best to get a custom turbo manifold. I don't think that the Scupe Turbo Manifld will fit your vehicle. The reason I say this is because itdoes not fit the non-aspirated Scoupe for the same year. It'd be best to check with a Hyundai Mechanic or Parts Department.

I have decided to build my own kit using a Talon turbo and a custom manifold. We'll see how well it works

The S-Coupe manifold will fit, but your choice of a custom manifold is a good one. It will be designed better and be stronger.

I don't want to run a Scoupe turbo though....too small. Will be going with one of the Talon turbo's. Bottom end will be built to handle more boost.

Apparanetly the T25 from the 95-99 Eclipse/Talon bolts right up to the stock Scoupe Turbo manifold. I cannot verify this though. That was gonna be my route if they didn't put the 1.6L DOHC in the 2K1 GS I got. I actually already had an intercooler & turbo before I bought the car
