does anyone know the difference in the heads between a 1.6l and a 1.8l elantra engine or if you and use eithier head on eithier engine

ok i have a shop manual for a 93 the cam heights are different. the intake on a 1.6 is 35.200mm on a 1.8its 35.493mm and exhaust on a 1.6 is 34.907mm on a 1.8 is 35.200 so the answer is no but if you change the cams it should work fine
i change the engine in my elantra and i put a 1.6 in a 1.8 and it works fine but now i think i am going to change the computer so it know there is a 1.6 not a 1.8 why did you ask? later
