One of the local Hyundai dealerships here (Planet Hyundai) donated a 1.6L Alpha block to me yesterday (<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>). I'll be tearing it apart next Saturday.

What kinds of stuff do you guys want pictures of and what do you want me to measure/look at?

hey speaking of planet hyundai, arent they quite new? I read about them in the automotive news magazine. Not sure if this is right but, arent they the largest hyundai dealership on the westcoast? Knocker, I have one of them too <img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>.

Right now in my garage I have the block from a G4ED (1.6L Alpha) and a G4GF (2.0L Beta). They also has a G4EK (1.5L Alpha) and G4GM (1.8L Beta), but I didn't have any way of getting them.

I'll be getting a whole longblock from a 2001 Elantra in the next couple weeks from them.
