no it did not blow up drew....
everything went smoothe....but when i tried to remove the valve cover, i didn't unscrew the one screw that's like HIDDEN so i was forcing it off and then it cracked on me....don't seem to leak any oil tho thank god....
putting the CAM back in the place was also a bitch, didn't wanna break those little screws so i PUSHED the cam down then screwed those things in......

seems like i gained few hp here and there but it could be psychological

will post pics and how to if i'm not that busy(lazy)

I forgot to ask, do you want the 1.8 Tibby cam or the 1.8 Elantra cam or are they the same

What year cam do I get, the same year cam as my car.

IF you got FX, should've came with 2.0....in that case, 1.8cam will work for you OR gain more hp by getting 2001 elantra 2.0 intake cam which is more hp

Where did you get your 1.8L cam and how much was it. You're suppose to get the 96-98 Elantra 1.8L intake cam right.
