I know this is gonna take a stupid amount of work.. but my father-in-law is a bad ass weilder and i am carzy enough to do this. Gonna remove pretty much the ass end of my accent and remove the engine. Redo the frame and suspension (heavier one) Put in none power steering. Then weild into the back a Chevy 350 attached to some kinda porche or other MR trans. If i can afford it after all this crazy redoing.. Get Lingenfelter twin turbos with intercoolers, underdrive pullys, all of a 2 foot exhast system, Over sized cams.. (if its one of the few 350's that had'm .. i think only a few types of corvette had them), and specialized intake for the turbos(haven't figured them out yet). Then after that i would like to crop it about 2 inches and ill need much bigger and better tires.

Anyone see any problems with this... other than the obvious things with frame and feul tank.. ill figure those out. Ive seen crazier things done.

Hold on there a sec boss hehe . Dont take out your back end it will be easier to put your block in the front just make some adjusting then get your drive shaft ( you know your tranny is gunna have to be a rear wheel drive do not get a Porche tranny it wont fit on a 350 motor. Just get a regualar muslce tranny from a hot rods mag. Dont turbo it. Supercharge it, all Edelbrook designment. your gunna need alot of weight my friend and a wheely bar. hahaha sounds like fun. a Domesitic accent. hehe coolness<img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle>

You dont TURBO a muscle engine.. you supercharge it. get that big ****ing supercharger sticking out the hood. Stick with concsept :)

you should get a huge azz blower to stick out your hood, that would look so fawkin awesome on a accent. People would prolly laugh their ass off until you are pullin a wheely down the quarter

Theres a differance thou. Supercharger= Connected to the top of the motor and you can see a very huge belt that connects the SC to the engine.
Blower or RAM AIR. also. sticks out of the hood but it has 3 or so rotators and NO belts. I suggest supercharger. Looks bitching and is WAY nicer than Ram air. Just dont start in up in your garage. Can you say deaf? hehe I did it once I had a headahce for a week or so.

because that would not be original, i bet he would be the only person in the world with a 350 accent, cant be much more original then that

Right Rob, But Like super elantra said, He will be the ONLY one with a 350 witha SC on that thing.

So be the only one with a 350 Cavalier or Metro.

Keep to your brands. That's just as retarded as putting a Honda engine into a Hyundai.

Not retarded... can't get that much power out of hyundai engine.. besides i don't cavilers much.. and this won't be anytime soon.. after i get out of army and blow up the engine thats in it now. I never thought about putting a blower on it... might look intresting.... but can i mount that big an engine in the frount of an accent... with out me sitting on the trans. Unless i get a new vette trans.. the sit in back. Dunno.. wa just dreamin something up. My original plans were to mount a 350 in a 82' 280zx 2seater... like my original car.. there lighter than a trans am and can hold the engine with ease... i just thought last night how much less the accent weights. 280 2750.. vs accent 2200 (thats would go way up i know)

I'm guessing if you put that engine into an Accent the frame would rip in half. It was never built to handle anywhere near that much power.

Such power would need a stronger frame. Notice he said he would put on in there in his other post. Its worth a try man dont back out on any of your ideas

I think it would be better up front. Channel a tube through the center for the tranny and drive shaft. Then connect it to a solid rear axle. Best bet is to find a "parts" car like a beat TA or Commaro.

hahah supercharge it? nah stick with the TT setup..people were making like 600hp outa 8lbs boost..some ehaders and usual output...thats low enuf to run even the stock pistons of the 350,,(depending if you are going old style EFI, lt1 or ls1)..supercharging is nice...and I wouldnt NOT reccomend it...but I would rather have the turbo setup anyday <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>
