[Accent_UK]

Just before I fork out the money for some new wheels, I have a few questions.
My '97 3 dr Accent isn't lowered (yet) and I've read articles about when pepole have increased their wheel size and the ride, handling etc. suffered. Would that be the case for me, going from 14's to 16's??

You are getting lower profile tires so you handling will be better. The only draw back is that the ride quality will decrease verry little. Only cause there is less cushion in the tires.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

16 will be perfect for the accent.

got ya first hand experience on this one

i had 14s and they totally sucked!!
felt like i was still ridin on the stockies

now i recently mounted 16s and i honestly can say i feel the car sticking to the road a lil more<img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

just my opnion of how 16s feel<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>, BUT I GUESS U "DO" have to consider the fact that they are chrome<img src=/images/forums/snitz/cool.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

and everyone nows that chrome wheels equal heavier wheels!!!
but i dont mind, i love the shine!
