hey what are the implications of using 2 tail pipes instead of one?

I know it will look good but will I suffer as far as performance is concerned ?

I gotta make a choice fast......HELP<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

yep you will suffer. you have a 4 clyder stick with one pipe please.

If you use 2 mufflers, you'll suffer a loss of torque from the decreased backpressure. Keep in mind, unlike V8s, 4 cylinders need a bit of backpressure in order to function to their maximum performance.

I was reading in the October issue of Sport compact car and they were talking about pipe sizing and exhaust manufacturs. I feel damn good that my muffler was in the list of good ones. (Magnaflow) I can't seem to find the magazine, but I think jacobite is right for a 1500cc engine.
