My experiance hot rodding cars leans toward american muscle, not rice, so forgive me if i'm off target...everyone with a hyundai knows how restrictive the factory air box is, they surround it with all of this plastic to keep it quiet, if i buy a good cai ram intake and mount it byhind the fan, as well as pulling off the crappy "dual" exhaust system of the 03 gt's and upgrade the pipes and mufflers coming off the cat can i actually expect to generate 20 extra hp??? i'd like to get my tib gt running at 200 hp, i don't race, i jus like to drive fast.

Current Tibby V6 has approximately 140 WHP. An air intake is dyno proven to give approximately 15 WHP boost. Combination of header, air intake, custom exhaust, custom mufflers should give (in my opinion) around 25-30 WHP. That is around 170 WHP with complete intake and exhaust modification.

Yes, with a good intake system and a new exhaust you'll easily be over 200hp at the crank.

the headers for the sonata are for the 2.0 litre only, not the 2.7 v6, which is what's in the gt tib, would love it though if anyone knows if headers are available for the 2.7's, or what exactly if any parts other than cai's are available(turbo's too expensive)

allso should i just scrap the tibby and go for the '98 grand cherokee limited with the 5.9 litre v8, it's a rare car i found for sale at a damn good price, and with only 40k miles!!....just curious.........

Yes Sharkracing does have headers. E-mail them for prices. They will give it to you. They have headers, intake, exhaust ready, this was about 2 monthes ago when they were available. So there may be more parts as we speak.

Amit, they are testing them out right now. They don't want to put a product up that hasn't been proven.

SR has a really good reputation so far, and always tries there best to satisfy the customer, therefore not sending out an inferior product

In answer to the ECU, I was on a surfing around a few days ago, and I found a company that, if you pulled out the computer and sent it to them, they would do it for you. it cost like $400, and they said that you should only do it if you have upgraded the intake/exhaust/cams/and have a bbtb...but, they said that it would take the 2.0 tiburon to 180 hp
