it was kinda weird actually. I was at the Muffler shop and the guy asked me if I was doing this for street racing I told him that i had plans for Nos and so forth so he was like cool ill hook you up and Im thinking with what well a week later a friend and I were installing the NX and he notticed that my CAT was replaced with a bigger pipe I had no clue I knew that just an exhaust shouldnt have made that much of a defferince and that answered my question it was because the CAT was gone...Thank God they dont check the CATS in this town when they inspect. I guess for business purposes he couldnt tell me he was going to do it because i sent a friend there a week later and they told him they dont do that...

if you did get in trouble for it, you could just blame it on the shop

You know Im glad you brought that up the Yellow has been a very good color for me judges always ask if its stock or custom because they cant tell and the Tiburons I have ran into on the show circuit have all been different colors havent ran into a yellow one yet however I do realize this kit is very aggressive and Im not sure if it will look good in yellow but still I am very fond of the yellow and cant decide also i was thinking about doing an aggrsive black dragon on both sides of the car you guys think thats to ricey are do you think it might actulally look cool...as for the dvd indash screen set up it almost went in perfectly barley had to make room you cant even tell.

Another question for you guys I am really worried about the front and sides of my Veilside Kit when I get it...Even if I raise it up I still think it may hit I have always been against Air Ride Because my friend had air ride on his Tib and the actually body above the strutttower cracked and we got stuck on the highway one night when aline busted and he had to call a tow truck...but Im starting to wonder If I should get that before i get the Kit...and what pisses me off is all I need is Adjustable coilovers like my friend got for 200 bucks for his civic man I hate how they get all the stuff I know i can bye the adjustable for over a grand but I might as well get the airride you get more attention with it but I dont want to put my Baby threw that...

lo&show would be the one to talk to if you're considering an air ride.

As far as colors go...

The veilside kit is very detailed so your car might look too busy with the dragons on it. IMHO, go with a clean look.

I've never seen an agresssive looking car in pastel colors which is why I asked about the paint job. I don't think that the pastel yellow looks bad, i was just wondering if you were considering a nicer shade than the Hyundai paint job.

with the yellow you can see the body lines better and would make the kit stand out more. with a darker color it will make it look more aggressive and kind of evil.

COOL Thanks guys I talked to GT Autosports Today and He said his word still stands for Mid Feb but the way my luck goes I wont get it till July LOL lets just hope it goes as he says and If any of you think about ordering anything lie the wing front any part of the Veilside I would go through these guys I called around to every shop listed on the veilside site and he was the cheapest this is what i wound up paying
693.00 front bumper
558.00 side skirts
585.00 rear bumper
531.00 rear wing Fiber Glass (everybody except them was asking for the price listed on the Veilside site saved a couple 100 on that one)
234.00 Mirrors (kinda hoping these would be cheaper but damn they did so good on the other prices)
if you can beat that then your the Man because I tried...Ill keep everyone posted...Thanks for the tip on the Dragons I think your right about the car being busy...Im kinda worried about being clowned because the kit looks so awsome but all I got is Nos I know I need a Turbo but I really dont want one I dont race that much and as long as I can kill any Civic Si stock Im happy...but we all know Ill have corvettes and Vipers coming at me know i guess Ill just leave them guessing and keep crusing LOL holla at yall later

Umm...just curious....you said your friend has an air ride on his tib. Is he using air bags or air rods? What size compressors is he using? What size lines? What size air tanks? What size valves does he have? What about the compressor? What size and how powerful is it? Who made his brackets, because you can't get brackets for Hyundai's yet. You have to have them custom made to hold either the air rods or bags in place. The body above his strut tower shouldn't of cracked unless some idiot installed the kit and didn't know what they were doing.

Please answer my questions, because I'm very curious about your friends "Set Up"

Yeah, I have seen that car in Lowrider before. Damn though...I can't believe he went to the Hack Shack to have his set up done. I know ALOT of people that had stuff done from them, and that place totally screwed them over. After thinking about it....you said your friends body started to crack where the strut towers are. That means the Hack Shack made real crappy brackets to hold the air cylinders in.

Damn bastards!
