im having a problem in 3rd and 4th gear (havent noticed it in any other gears) where if im just cruising at 2000 rpm it feels like the car is bucking a little. is this a fuel problem or the clutch? i have an 03 i4 tiburon. thanks for any help.

most possible a air/fuel issue. does it have any codes in it? A slipping clutch can be at fault as well, although it will be more obvious.
yea i only notice it in 3rd and 4th gear. around 2000 rpms it feels like its hicuping. also when i frist start my car in the morning (only the first time i start it all day) the rpms go to about 3000 and stay till i put it in first and ease off the clutch. i was initially thinking amybe it was the fuel filter maybe? im puzzled
have a cold air intake, exhaust, big bore throttle body (with intake ported to match) 290cc injectors. i was gonna change the plugs and see if that helps any.
wires

Try your replacing your plug wires my mazda truck was doing the same thing replacing the wires fixed the problem.
My supra just went into the shop for this. I can almost definitly tell you that it is the plugs, wires, or a combination of both.
