My Boy just got a new RSX Type S but he will not race me now I know a RSX would beat a stock Tib but I want to know if I could beat one, here are my engine mods...WR Intake, Magnaflow Performance Exhaust, Cat removed, 50 Shot of NX...My car is also an Auto and His is a Stick...What do you guys think...I should be pushing close maybe a little over 200 HP while spraying Right.

Well let's see, you've got a 140hp tib auto, so deduct the avg. 20-23% drivetrain loss and we've got like 108whp, the intake and exahust on a 2-liter 4cyl won't net you more than 8-9whp at best, so lets say 117-118whp, add the 50-shot which is good for roughly 40ish whp and say you're running near 155whp, the RSX dyno's stock @ 165whp, plus he's a 6spd manual vs. your automatic.. I'd say RSX, but not by a whole lot.

Lets just say this, I would beat you, badly. That weapon R intake is not a CAI, just a filter on the end of your mafs still located in the engine bay, taking out your catitic converter only gives you like...1hp? If any? You have a full interior. no weight reduction. and big sterio, and a muffler with 50shot and stock internals...

So its like this... sucking in hot air, with a muffler and 50 shot nos... so your around probably 142crank hp. Behehehehe without the nos.

Cool...I took an Acura GSR (stick)with a cold air intake by more then a car link...Im not into racing enough to bump my shot up to 65 most of everything I do is for show I just like the NX so I can murder Civics...Im thinking of putting a Turbo on it just so i have something to fill in the front of the Veilside but thats an expensive Mod Just for looks I havent decided what to do...Thanks for the Info Guys<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>
