posting because i'd like some input from any of you guys about a purchase i'll be making in the near future

i'll have around 1500$ to do with as i please in the coming month and i'm looking to do something
body kit.. wheels/tires.. coilovers... various other items
anything really
so what i'd like of you guys is your opinions i know there's not alot of body kits
and zefiro really looks like the only worthwhile one until that JD Evo is being sold
so what do you guys think? what would you go after first

thanks for the info

Wait a little bit. KORE will have a CAI very soon. Also they carry a new bodykit (not Zefiro nor HVE/Astrel). Unfortunately, I haven't seen the pics yet. Also they will have a catback 2.25 diameter. In about a month strut bars will be out. All of these are for 2001-2002 Elantra. Oh, almost forgot, RACE COILOVERS! They kick a$$! Fully adjustable! But they are pricey. Somewhere 700-800 for street version and 1200-1500 for race version.
Also you didn't mention what you want more: Power or Looks. At least in the beginning. Because you cannot have both for only $1500.

I got my 17" rims with tires for $900 from Discount Tire Direct. Konig Traffiks.

Here is how I would/Did spend that money...

Rims $900
5 Zigen Fireball muffler $200
Custom 2.5" Exhaust piping $200
Apex springs $250
Spectra 92-95 Civic intake $60.

Do not buy H & R springs for your 2001 Elantra, they do not fit. This was a mistake on there web site which they have taken off now. The Civic intake fits with only 2-3" cut off the filter end. The cool air pick up from the bumper goes right into my filter<img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

i'll going after the looks first
when i do go more into the performance it probably wont be more than a CAI header/exhaust custom cams and a good port/polish job
i hope to take it to turbo eventually but thats far off in the distance right now

so mainly i'll be looking at either wheels and suspension or body kits or intake+exhaust

thanks for all the info so far
