Hey guys...I am selling my 95 Accent to start a new project. I plan on building the 2001 Elantra VE. What I want to know is...who makes:
-coilovers or sports suspension (KYB AGX?)
-What is the bolt pattern, PCD, and offset for rims (I'm planning on 17-18's)
I already know what engine mods I can get...and have decided on a body kit.
Also..if UFB gan get enough interested in the T3/T4 Hybrid kit for the Elantra...they will develop it. I beleive all it needs is a different wastgate and intercooler piping...which you could probably have made anyway. I hope tere are many interested.
Anyway, I just need any ifo on sports suspension...all of it. Thanks Guys!

The offset, I think, is 4x100. I put 18s on mine and the offset was made for Honda Civic. I can go up to 19s with no problem due to the fact that I have fender flared the car.
You can fit 17s, no problem, and slam it. It won't interfere with steering. However, with 17s don't go larger than a 215-45-17 tire.
18s can get a little tricky if you plan on slamming it. You have to have the right combo of tire and wheel if your going 18s.
Slamming your Elantra with 18s and only replacing springs can only use up to a 205-40-18 tire. Hook up with a local wheel shop and they should be pretty cool about trying different combos. And don't listen to what Hyundai specs tell you that you can due...I read in a spec manual for wheel shops on Hyundai Elantra and it stated that you couldn't put bigger than a 17" wheel... And here I am rollin on 19s and air ride.
If your local to So.Cal. I can help you out.
Here's a pic of my ride.

The bolt pattern is 4X114.3, the same as almost all of the Hyundais except the 2K+ Accent & 5 bolt cars duh. I have 17's on mine. I had H & R springs on mine and had no problems what so ever with rubbing. They are 40mm offset. 205/40 tires. A word of caution on the H & R springs, they don't fit. They were the wrong ones. They do not make them for the 2001+ yet. I have a set of Apex(35mm drop) on their way
