The KORE short 2001 elantra intake is done. it fits 5 spd and should fit the auto as well. Gives great throttle response and a real feelable(my word) gain in horsepower and adds a distinctive growl to the car under hard acceleration. By the way, what is estimated hp increase for short intake? did you dyno a car with it?

no we didnt yet but we integrated the factory heat shield into the design so that seems to help also.. i will get a photo up asap

I beleive we met @ SEMA..What happened the thursday night sema was over?.. I was staying @ the Hard Rock and crusied the lot awhile..

Nope te 2001 intake will not fit the 2000. Yes please avoid the Weapon-cRap intake. You might as well just put a filter on the end for $20, it's almost the exact same set up.

Has it been tested with a Gtech or Dyno to give a real indication on any HP gain?
I know a dyno will not give a very accurate result but some runs with a Gtech would tell us something.
Reason I ask is that some intakes can give the driver a perceived HP increase when in reality HP actually drops.
