Paid extra for an armrest and got ripped on the overhead console. Are you sure you drive a Tiburon? Look at the back and make sure they spelled it Tiburon and not Tiberon. LOL<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I got my book out that I got from the dealer when I got my tib and in the back of the book it shows different pics of things. The last pic is of the overhead console and this is what it says:
the <i>available</i> overhead console...
and then it has two ** that says underneath
<i>some items are available only as part of a specific option package</i>
hmmm....

hmm, i am going to the dealer to talk about that tommorow and get my brakes looked at cause 2 out of 10 times when i brake the car pulls to the right. I wonder what it would cost to get the sunglass holder and maplights installed, and that armrest thing confuses me still cause the brochure i have says that there is a deluxe armrest with storage cover, the same brochure says the overhead sunglass thing is standard on 2001 tiburons

well let us know how it turns out. Also, if you remember, ask them about the light that's inside the door. There was a big discussion about that over at team-sr. well, the dealer told me to call the hyundai number in the owners manual and they pointed out some fine text somewhere that said not all standard features are available with every package, in other words covering themselves from all the extra costs that could come up, tommorow I am going to get the brakes fixed and price out the overhead console install

I agree with you on the overhead console and door lights. The one battle I fought with Hyundai was the locking glove box. That also says it is standard, but mine did not have it. They also directed me to the fine print and "we will gladly add a locker for $50.00"

yah, kind of wish I would have ordered my tib with all the options possible, leather, sunroof, everything, I don't know how long I would have had to wait though. All that was on the lot was the base model
