Theres a reason why the ZX2 is being discontinued, and its not because its a top seller.

They are ok cars as in performance down the line, but thats about it. I would say would put a 1/4 car length on a Tiburon with equal drivers.

I used to own a ZX2 and now have a 2000 elantra. I like the elantra much better. The ZX2 is a bit quicker but has the sloppiest gearbox I have ever driven in a compact. Ford service is the worst I have ever experienced . I am much happier with my Hyundai.

Its been my experience that ALMOST all Ford dealerships suck at almost the same level..

With Hyundai its like.. either REALLY BAD (the worst I could imagine really) or REALLY GOOD... its funny.

To sum up : Ford = Relatively bad service all around
Hyundai = Roll the dice

Well....i hate to say it(at least as of now, cause im still in my POS 2000 Civic SE) but honda is 1 of the worst as far as service. & its a damn shitty car too. Im trying to find a way to get either a 2001 tibby or a 2003 tibby....when the 2003s come out in houston....ill be there test driving.

i had a 1990 ford probe 3.0 v6 LX...i LOVED that car....and the 2nd gen probes were cool too...basically a mx-6 w/ a ford body kit...

but when they dropped the probe they went downhill w/ the zx2...i drove one once...it has a HELL of a lot less room inside than the tib...i was offended at how tight it was inside...and i dont mean "cool" tight, i mean "get me the hell out of here before i hurt someone" tight

the cougar out now is basically the "new probe" but i'd say both the zx2 and cougar's days are numbered...tho the cougar does look damn good...

but the tiburon owns all<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

Im not sure how much HP the ZX2 has but I got two Tibs one is bone stock (its the wife) the other fully moded well we were diriving my wifes tib to a freinds when a zx2 with a wings west wing exhaust air intakee rims and a stick pulls up and revs so i just slam on the gas pull ahead and get cut off by a truck then i get behind him slam the gas and still keep beating him im like I know these things are slow but man shouldnt it at least hang with a stock auto tib especially with intake exhust I wish I would have been in my car i would have hit the Nos just to piss him off anyways i gave that kill to my wife sense its her car LOL
