I turbo-ed my 2010 Hyundai Getz 1.4HS and am currently making 208hp (154kw) and 260nm on 1bar boost on a t25/28. Tuner said he doesn't think the gearbox is gonna hold up for long wit all the torque and wanted to know if any1 knew if i could swop a 2l gearbox or maybe a diesel gearbox in and if they would fit?

(Clutch is already slipping and would like to swop in a stronger clutch and gearbox at the same time to make things easier)

This is a research thing. Basically i would find out what motor design family your 1.4l is from. Find the larger motor and check into their transmissions specs. Starting in the same familyminimizes measurement issues when bolting

Hey mate. I have 2006 1.4L and I wanna do the same thing. I've been doing research on manifolds and am wondering what your running...whether you got it custom, or was there something else you can bolt in there, like maybe an accent manifold??
or would it be easier doing a g4ee to g4ek swap as that was standard turbo?
