i know there are some people here that have swapped the 63 into an X2, i need help...which axles did you use? you know when swapping from the auto, or 4spd, up to the 5spd w/ the 4g63. if you know, or you can point me in the direction of someone who has done an x2 swap, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

i read somewhere that mirage turbo axles would work. can anyone confirm this?
Well i know that the J1 elantra and the Mirage were almost the same underneath..

X2? Thats the Mitsu powered one? I keep mixing all the codes up...

If it was Mitsu powered, then yes, mitsu stuff SHOULD fit. 96+ Hyundai went all Hyundai.
well the axle from the pass side of the mirage worked. but the driver side doesn't. it appears that the mirage has a carier bearing, and inner shaft. anyone have any ideas???

There are a few guys with swapped x2's at Redirecting... might want to ask there.

nvm...i didn't get it at first. i thought thats the forum i was at. i'm a member over there as well. i got the pass mirage turbo axle to work, but the driver side is a short axle.....supposed to have a innermediate shaft and carrier bearing. if i was to get the bearing and shaft would there be a place to bolt the carrier on my 4g15?
