Go with the 5-speed manual. Talk to 2Uniq.

He successfully did his auto to 5-speed in his 1.8L Tiburon (I know you have a 2.0L) but still.

You didn't make a complete fool of yourself before by asking the question. But you did when you said "KAKA".<img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Mach 5!!
I did a conversion on my Tibby about 2 months ago.I have had NO problems with the conversion and would recommend this!!!
the comparison of an Auto to a 5 speed is like NIGHT and DAY!!!
If you decide to do this conversion a know a friend that works in a scrap yard and i can get you all the neccessary parts you need to do the conversion. There are TOO many parts to list for me to tell you what you need. For all the parts needed for the conversion it will cost you around $1000US which includes shipping. Then for the install it all depends to which shop you take it too. This should cost around $500.Which makes it a total of $1500 for parts and Install. If your intrested in doing this let me know and i can get it for you.Email me at [email protected] Thanks!!

I converted my Audi to a 5-speed in 2000 for around $850.

As stated above, it is completely worth it, the differences are night and day.

I posted the procedure on the web at http://www.angelfire.com/ct/tugger/TranConv.html
I'm not claiming that the conversion procedures are even remotely the same, but it will give a few things to consider before undertaking the project.

It took me and one other person 20 hours over 3 days to complete the job.
Good Luck!
