How do the 6 speakers in the 2000 tiburon work? do I need to find a 6 speaker head unit?

No.The two door speakers are connected to the tweets in the dash.They run on the wires F.R and F.L. Any aftermarket deck will run all six.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

there are also universal wiring harnesses for an aftermarket dash, that hook straight into the stock wiring harnes(no cutting). This is the best way to wire your system!
