i read somewhere that your were doing a beat accent swap kit,... how about a 6 speed tranny to a beta kit???
just a suggestion,...

physically it will probably cost way too much to do such a conversion. You have to think that the housing for the V6 6-speed will be totally different from the Beta engine.

just giving you guys suggestions,... it will come in handy everytime these dam hyundai 5 speeds give out.
It would also come in handy once you guys come up with that 300+ turbo. Those trannys are going to be stressed big time,...
a 6 speed would be very beneficial

That would be interesting. No 6 speed for me thanks. Just another gear to shift to get me to 70mph. If my car could do 150mph, then I'd consider it. It wouldn't be cheap, either way.

I just want a 6th gear for highway cruising. Doing 80 MPH at 4000 RPM gets OLD!

The 6 speed should be able to handle some more power.

Whats this about a "revised tranny"???

does the revised one have a stronger 5th?

those going turbo want to do something with their 5th gear... and on the 6 speed, are any of those gears weak? this is the wrong forum probably for this, a question for cheuk...
