Hey all-

Does anyone have pictures of the 6K HID's installed on their car? Thanks.

Might want to read this before you get into real HIDS (if that is what you are talking about.) This is a good article anyways about lighting. You will want to retrofit your headlights or the glare will be so bad for on comming motorists.. that it will blind them.

If you are just talking about blue bulbs.. they burn out fast and arnt really worth it. Get Silver Stars if all else.
Well, I was thinking about buying the 6K HALO HID kit. Will it really be that bad?
I've heard that they can be blinding for on coming cars, but I would seriously read up on that cause you dont want to blind a cop and get a nice ticket. :paranoid:

no problems with glare on my car, the beam is nicely focused on the ground and is narrow angled

infact my lights flood the lane i'm in and perhaps only a 1/4 of the lane to either side of me same as stock lights but much more efficiant lighting

Wow, those looks really nice
those pics look like the ones on the web sites to promote the hids. I have 6000k in my 04 accent. they look great and are perfect for bad weather such as snow or rain or even fog, i find the light cut thu better instead of illuminating the fog or rain. I'll try to get some pics tonight of them and post them up.

I have the 6000k also, they look awesome
It's very weird. I've seen posts of 6k's where the lights are blue...
I've been thinking about some new bulbs in my tucson as well, since my original driver side lamp is out.

My only concern with a brighter headlamp is shorter life span. How long does a set of HID bulbs usually last? And are there HID bulbs made to last about the same time as factory bulbs?
