I was wondering if any one knows if the transmission from a Dodge Stealth has the same bell housing as the stock transmission. Im trying to make my 3.0L V6 manual. Any suggestions?

The sonata runs a 6g73 but its lh mounted so any mitsi 6g73 box will fit if the donor car is also lh mounted, e.g gt3000/stealth if its a vr4 (4wd) box you will need to lock up the viscuis drive to the rear shaft so all the drive is delivered to the front diff<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

Hi Lawnboy, long time no speak, i see you are following up on the info we discussed previously. Don't forget to check the workshop manuals at your local library, dealership, or mechanical trade-school. to compare diagrams. I think it will fit, but i can not guarantee it, you can always try going to your local wrecker, explaining everything that you are wanting to do, and see if they will lend you one on a part payment basis perhaps?
