Ok I must admit I 'm dumb. a few questions...

What kind of enignes can it be swapped with?
How much would it cost?
How long is the process?
What kind of HP can I expect from the new Enigine?
I read a kit was being made, when,as a esimate, will they be availabe?
If a have already gotten a full exhaust system for the accent will I have to get a new on for the new engine?


Ahhh I have too many questions.

If anyone can answer any of these I'd gladly appreciate it

PS: It is possible to get an accent up over 150 to maybe even 175 HP?

The 2.0 Beta engine from the Elantra and Tib can be swaped into the accent, i can't remeber who but some company if i'm not mistaken is selling the whole setup (engine, trans, and ecu) for like 1000 bucks
That particular engine comes stock with 140 hp but has more postential for upgrades

As for the 150 hp or 175 hp anything is possible with enough money <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

It is possible to get an accent to over 300 horse with enough $$$$

300hp at the wheels or crank?

300hp at the crank should not be a problem with a beta implant and a good turbo setup.

300hp at the wheels is possible but it will take alot more $$$$$$ and work.

okie bud here goes!
1) The 1800 Elantra should be more Common than the 2L 16Valve that comesin the Tib and 2L Elantra, But the 1800 Does give Solid perfermance, between than ther is a MAx of 15 Kw(Personaly imgoing for the 2L) i had a look at a 1800 Motor today but the Vavles are Burnt + Rings are stuffed so its a difantant No go for me at the Mo!


2) Its gonna cost me about 800 Pounds but ive been cutting down on the price quiet lately!

3) The Actually Procedure dosnt take very long i believe!
3a) You can exspect 95-98Kw on the fly!

4) the beta swap it i am/Was a Possible Donor to start the First of many Swop Kits but there has been some complications in the Pricing and have 85% for the new Funds
5) Im sure you they can make your old Exhaust System Werk

6) I see you new Read up alot you will find all your aswers PS i have a 99 Accent 150 RSI
