Hello.
I've got possibility to buy front brakes from 99'sonata to do my BB kit for X3.

I would like to ask you, if someone has compared spindles from lantra/coupe and sonata?
Are they the same? rotors are the same for sure (257 mm).
Anyone? Please.

the spindle OD seems to be much bigger...so it doesn't fit (i was trying for my RD1)

The second thing I wonder is that master cylinder/brake booster will fit from 99' sonata to RD1/2? If so, it should work for x3 (i hope so).

I'm trying to fit the EF sonata Master Cylinder into my RD1
Some modification needed as both master cylinder out (ABS) points to 3 o'clock for RD1
but EF sonata master cylinder points to 3 o'clock for the nearer to booster and 12 o'clock for the furthest

seems like we are doing the same mod...i'm still trying to look for the non-captive swap hub.
i've got the sonata caliper and rotors and master cylinder...hehehe:smoking:

As you already said spindles will not fit. Rotors also are captive right?

Question now is that calipers from sonata will work with rd2 spindles? I suspect it should, but we gonna find out.
