Hey all,

I have a 2000 Hyundai Accent GLS and a 2001 Hyundai Elantra GT. The Accent I have had since last October and it has 44100 miles on it. I know that the alternator is going on the car. I can take it out and rebuild it myself, or have the dealership lube it up to stop it from squeaking. I know it will go in another couple thousand miles if I don't do one of these things. If the dealership lubes it up, it will just need to be lubed up again in another 40,000 miles, but it won't be under warranty, and I will have to pay for it. If I brake it on purpose, I will get a new one. What should I do? I am thinking of braking it just to get a new one, but should I feel bad? Oh Yeah, my water pump went 35,000 miles into the car... but there are NO problems with the GT... I love it! Please e-mail me at [email protected].

Thanks all!

Dominic
