Hi again i am very unhappy today because i think i have an a-spec tib.I noticed that in the front left fenderwell(where i was planning to put the filter of my cai)there is a vapor canistor or sth, which means no space if i wanted to buy the new kore cai!!
So guys does anybody else has this problem??And if so what have you done with your cai´s???

Hey
Me two get a speedstate intake if you have a 5speed! If you have an auto you will have to get the speedstate intake for the auto when it comes out!<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

Hi KAO,
Is the speedstate cai any good? What about sound? And approx.what gains did you have?Ive read that when you increase the airfilter´s dist.from the throttle body you lose acceleration. Also what about the dumpvalve?I think its useless..

SAVE your self some time an pain,.. I see a few people taking the cheap way out and Trying to "rig" or make a CAI. Save a couple of buxks , Don't go out to the bars, and buy a real CAI! I know that it is harder ffor autos, but you could try waiting a while unitl some one comes out wiht one. Or you could remove the box and put a cone type filter on the fronthe MAF sensor housing and this would increase your throttle response.

The Speedstate CAI is decent, it was made to fit all tibs 97 to 2001, and possibly the 4 cyl 2002/2003 as well. It's a rather quiet CAI to but it has a nice growl.
