I am about to go out of my ****ing mind. Some ass hole hit my car while it was parked! He put a ****ing hole in my damn bumper! Then I came home and had to deal with my parents ****. AAHHHHHHHHH. This guy had this big ****ing truck and tried to park between me and another guy, but get this, the guy parked next to me was in the spot next to me! What a dumbfuck. Ah this pisses me off just thinking about it, now I gotta take it to the ****ing shop so it can get fixed, and I gotta wait for it. AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I got all of his info. Do you guys think I should take my car to the dealer or a body shop?

Shock...alot of dealers don't do body work. They mainly just do regular repairs. The dealer will probably point in the direction to a body shop that WORKS for the dealer though. A little more money...but...you don't have to worry about it!

Sorry to hear about that. PEOPLE SUCK!! As far as taking it to the dealer vs a body shop, the dealer is going to charge you a whole lot more. I'd find me a good reputable body shop and take it there.

The cost doesn't matter to me, I just want it done right. There is no dobut that I will have to get the bumper replaced, that was why I was thinking about taking it to the dealer. My friends just told me I should just get a new "body kit" rear bumper...

Dealers will "auction" off a job to the lowest bid. They charge a standard price, so what you get is -> the body shop price + the dealers fee. This is the type of job that the dealers can make a killing on. Sometimes it is best to ask the dealership to recommend a body shop. They will often comply with the name of a reputable shop that has experience with working on Hyundai. Too, asking your insurance company who to go to can be beneficial in the sense that they will point you to a good shop with good prices. This is good even if you aren't going to claim it. Hope this helps.

get the highest quote you can and the lowest quote you can, give the insurance company the highest quote then take your car to the lowest. use the difference to get a little dash ornament or something nifty for you ride.

Well, I will always park my car really close to a concrete curb or something so I don't get door dings (so much for that!). The parking lot I was in has really wide spots, there was a guy in the spot next to me and I was really far to the side of my spot, the guy that hit me tried to park b/w us.
