My question is this:

You can get traction control on the highest option package of the Elantra Gt which is only a 140 hp car. If we don't have the option of traction control on the 181 hp Tiburon GT how gay is that? I guess I'm asking this to the members that have the wonderous HMA contacts, are you certain we aren't getting traction control? It just seems stupid, that it's available on the Elantra and the Sonata, but not on the new Tiburon.

IF you plan on racing you do not want traction control, alot of higher end sports coup tend to disable it after purchase. But then they are also ripping the guts out of their calls, depends all what a wanna do with it.

but TCS will slow ya down

I like to drive spiritedly and most times would probably have it off but there are just times when you are in shitty ass rain when that added bit of confidence just makes sense as a safety feature just like abs. Also say you do intake and catback and you have close to 200hp in a front drive car, using tcs wisely could save you some life in expensive 17" performance tires. You know what I mean. Madrebel, so it does have it, that's cool. I had just heard that tcs was one of the missing buttons that we didn't get.

To fill you up with the information on TCS, in Canada we do have it on GS-R models only. I was kinda disappointed with that since I'll be getting the I4. ABS comes in on GT model and TCS at top of the model. Anyway, my point is that TCS & ABS is good to have since you are not gonna race everyday with your car I suppose.. so think it as a road safe options. I am just pi**ed off that they are not available with the I4 <img src=/images/forums/snitz/mad.gif width=16 height=16 border=0>
