But a kill is a kill right? Well sorta, this is the kind of crap I deal with almost daily so I figured you guys might get a kick out of it

Being the cordial gentlemen I am, I follow my g/f home from time to time to ensure she arrive's safley and so I can kiss her goodnight. Anyways, we're on our merry way down the 836 infront of Miami Int'l airport when I notice a pair of headlights approaching awfully quick. The headlights dart to the side and I can hear an intake howling at WOT, and along goes a red 5G hatch, complete with some old school chrome 15" American Racing 5 stars that, at least to me, appeard to stick out of the fender somewhat and a lovley set of $10 sidemarkers that looked like they were hammered into the fenders...

Anyways.. after buzzing along side me, the guy now decides to pace me . For like 10 mins he stayed about a car length ahead of me without budging. I'd slow down about 5mph.. so would he. Speed up a bit.. so would he. The mere sight of him begins to annoy me, so screw it, I put it in 3rd, pull up to his open window and ask him to play via a "Psshhheewwww".. suddenly the Civic drops a car length? What the..? I slow a little and sneeze at him once more.. Civic slows to like 40mph!? Bah!! I look over and the guy is like slouching down in his seat while his g/f gives me this bedazzeld look.. so I had to go on my merry way w/o any fun and he insisted on staying like 10 cars back now... I swear people like that exsist soley to irritate me, or maybe i'm just a jerk?!

Cliffs: Civic flys by me, paces me, and suddenly forget's which one is the gas

To bad your girl was in a car in front of you. I would have followed the guy to where he was going and then asked his girlfriend if she wanted to ride with me instead.

I know exactly what you are talking about. When we had her supercharged Accent NO IMPORT in town would race us. I had to race people who didn't know The town I live in is pretty small and word was around NOT to race us. I usually had to race domestics. I can really only remember 2 import races. One a Supra TT which I beat and a EG with a B18C swap which I CRUSHED.

Car Specs
Engine-Rotrex supercharger running 18 psi, Ross pistons, Cunningham rods, ARP head studs, Spearco intercooler w/ 2.5" piping, Greddy type-s blow off valve, K & N filter, 55lb Bosche fuel injectors, 255 Walboro fuel pump, B & M oil cooler, Centerforce 6 puck disc and pressure plate, Tec-II engine management with Wintec, Talyor spark plug wires, 2.5" exhaust piping exiting through a Apex-i N1 muffler w/ silencer

Power levels-DYNOED 180 hp and 166ft lb trq at the wheels at 10 psi no dyno with 18 lb pulley.

Unfortunately we had a MAJOR falling out with the shop that did the car. They had the car for 2.5 YEARS! We had to take legal action because they refused to work on the car or release it. They also left it outside UNLOCKED one night and the car got broken into(even though it was unlocked) and the whole stereo got stolen along with the supercharger and some other engine stuff. When we took the car back the wiring for the Tec-II was all screwed up so we had to take it Electromotive to fix. We got the car back a week before Carlisle, we ran it on the dyno but the belt was slipping(It snapped on the way home from Carlisle) and only dynoed 146whp at around 6-7 psi. It was also running EXTREMELY rich. I didn't bring the lap top to tune. The guy running the dyno said he would tune it on the dyno for an hour for $75. I fixed this after Carlisle and we were gonna dyno it but she decided to sell it :( I honestly think when it was tuned it had about 270hp. I estimate this because the car was gaining approximately 9hp/psi. 18x9=162. 105(stock hp) +162(supercharged)= 267hp. I believe the car could have ran a high 12 with slicks. The car only weighed 2100lbs. I only ran the car at the track once. This was when we picked the car up from the shop. I ran a 16.6 @ 89mph. I had a 2.1 60ft. Once I hit fourth the car started backfiring so I coasted over the finish line. This was when we found out the wiring was all fu(ked up and took it to Electromotive. They said this was the WORST wiring job they EVER saw. I took the car to them after tuning and them said they were IMPRESSED that I had it that close to perfect WITHOUT a dyno. I spent days tuning it. It only needed the timing advanced a little, they said the fuel maps were awesome. I was afraid to advance the timing too much. I miss that car :(
