I have a Weapon R intake with the V2 filter. I want some type of CAI so I bought an 8foot peice of 4" wide aluminum dryer hose. I saw the K&N CAI and they ran their hose where the intake is behind the factory lower grill. I don't understand how they did this b/c there is no room? I ran mine behind the radiator next to the lower radiator hose and came out where the plastic splash guard below the engine is. I cut a hole and pulled the hose out and smashed it down where air is being forced in. I also noticecd that K&N didn't attach their hose to the filter and stressed on leaving it exactly 4inches away???? Anyone played with this type of install that can give me some suggestions???
