I've been looking around at suspension stuff, and I found air ride. It seems like great stuff, except it doesn't really mention how they do, performance-wise. If anyone knows, like 2klo since he does show stuff, I'd appreciate it. Also, I wasn't able to find an approximate cost at their site.

air bags are good for show.
but if you plan on doing anything like autocross racing then air bags are not the way to go.

low&show we prolly be all ove rthis soon... but as I beat him to it...

he has designed an air-rod kit. Thsi air-rod kit is very suitable for autoX and daily driving, it is much more stable than bags, but yet can still be adjusted for show and lowering purposes!!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Air is great for show, not so great for hard driving/performance. It also will give ya the most comfortable ride possible if its adjusted right. Try a search on teamsr.org's boards, 2000L&S had a nice article on it over there.

In most cases air suspemsion will give you more body roll, and generally make the suspension too soft for performance driving. IF performance is you;re absolute goal, get true coilovers, not those threaded ones. If you want a hardcore show car, then juice or air (with air getting the nod for comfort and juice getting the nod for jumping and fast transitions to different stances while having a **** ride) is the best choice. If you want a great daily driver, some lowering srings are the ticket. If ya want good ride quality, and a good show look, with the ability to have a decent handling car, go with 2000L&S's air kit whenever its completed. I think that about covers it.

So what are you trying to do? Race, show, cruise, or drive daily?

O yeah, the air, juice, or coilovers should total between $1500-2000 i think.
