airbrushing prices

how much would it cost to get something airbrushed onto the hood of my Tiburon? It's pretty big, it's a skull and blue flames and it covers the first half of the hood, and the flames go almost up to the windshield. I think they charge by square inch or foot or something, does anyone have any input?

Thanks

It depends on the shop and/or the artist. It also depends on how detailed you want it to be and what kind of paint is used. Think of airbrushing as like getting a tattoo. The more detail and the better the artist, the more expensive it'll be.

Another thing to remember is that alot of airbrush artists wont clear the part of the car that they're painting. So thats an extra cost right there as well. Not only will you have to find a shop that will clear over the artwork, but they're gonna have to know what kind of paint was used for the artwork so that the clear they spray is compatible with it.

Prices for airbrush work can go anywhere from a couple hundred dollars all the way up in the thousands, plus the extra costs of having it cleared over as well.

Good luck....
I do custom paint work, I charge by the size of the pitchure and when I price It is for all of it. a pitcure the size you are wanting is around $300 If I knew how to post pic I would but Iam not verry good with a computer.lol.
