The alignment in my Accent has recently gotten worse and worse, to the point now where it's getting annoying to keep the wheel turned a bit to the right just to go straight .

My old '95 Accent I had did the same thing, losing its alignment over the one year I had it.

Is anybody else having this problem with their X3?

No problems with that yet... but my right-rear tow arm is damaged, causing my rear to swing out like if I were oversteering. It's very unstable. Fixing it thursday.

Sad but true, my 96' Accent also turns to the left, really bad! My tires don't seem to be wearing though? I don't know what to do? Now that this topic was brought up and quite a few people are dealing with it, I think we all need to try something and when someone finds out what's wrong, they need to shed some light on the rest of us.

I got used to it, but I was driving the Del Sol all day yesterday and I got into my car that night and it was VERY noticeable.

Well... my 97 doesn't have that problem... at least I don't think it does.

I've hit the front right wheel twice on curbs... once in the snow and once another time.. and the alignment seems to be straight... I don't really notice anything wrong with it and it was checked out and everything seems fine.

That sucks that many people have this problem... hope that they can get this fixed.

Its happened to my car before. But when I get new tires it seems to correct the alignment slightly, not but not altogether. I know I need that camber kit because my tires wear bad at the inside.

An alignment usually costs between $40 and $100.

With my Accent, I've noticed that even a light breeze (5-10 mph) will cause the car to drift. It's especially noticeable when passing an 18-wheeler because of the volume of air that they are cutting through. I also think that the way the road is crowned and the weight of the vehicle also contributes to the problem.

I am curious if anyone with suspension, tire and rim upgrades has the same problems...

One thing I've noticed with my 91 excel is that the alignment does slowly go as time goes by. But nothing midas can fix for $60. Well with the front anyways. The rear is getting worse and worse and there are no adjustments for it. So in about 10 more years from now the car will run sideways :)

an alignement is something you have to do from time to time...like changing your timineg belt every 100,000 km(or70 mi for you Yanks)...as well as all of you, me steering wheel was turned to the left slightly(I'm running 185/70/13 m&s's)..so I took my car in for an alignment @ Focus, and my alignment happened to be fine..it was my driver's-side front wheel bearing that was toast...lucky Hyundai's have good warranties as that would've been pricey...so long
